DAE income up seven-fold at US$38.8 million

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd. recorded net income, excluding non-recurring items, of US$38.8 million (AED142.6 million) for all of 2010, an increase of 708 per cent over the net income, excluding non-recurring items, of US$4.8 (AED17.6 million) for all of 2009.

Dubai Airport expects to handle 98.5 million passengers by 2020

According to new findings released by Dubai Airports as part of their 10-year traffic forecast for Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum, passenger numbers will rise by 7.2 per cent and 6.7 per cent respectively from next year, which outperforms the global average of five per cent.

TUSDEER constructs 3rd Warehouse Village

Saudi Trade and Export Development Company, Tusdeer, a subsidiary of the Saudi Industrial Services Company – SISCO, the owner and operator of the first bonded and re-export zone at Jeddah Islamic Port, signed a contract to build Warehouse Village 3 at Jeddah Islamic port in response to increasing demand.

The Warehouse Village consists of 15 warehouses with storage areas of 16,000 sq metres. The Total cost of this project is SAR 33 million. This project increases Tusdeer’s warehouse area to approximately 50,000 sq metres.
