Barloworld and Hexomatrixx join hands

Barloworld Logistics Middle East & Asia, the owners and operators of Dubai-based Swift Freight, have signed a MoU with Hexomatrixx, reinforcing the Barloworld’s position as the official logistics partner for Hexomatrixx in Dubai and the rest of the GCC.

Hexomatrixx is a leading player in the oil and gas industry, and says it is unique in its field in offering business process outsourcing, ‘order to cash and ‘purchase to pay’ services to clients in the Middle East and South East Asia.

In 2007, Hexomatrixx commissioned Swift Freight, now Barloworld Logistics, to form a strategic alliance in providing 3PL and supply chain management service to its clients in the oil and gas sector, the company said in a statement.

“The location of the warehouses enables us to offer clients cross-border business – soon, this alliance will allow us to cover more of India and, hopefully, other parts of Asia,” says Raghu Menon, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Hexomatrixx.

“With Barloworld Logistics, we are able to offer modern logistics centres that are EHS-approved; state-of-the-art warehousing and distribution; import clearance, inventory management, order processing, customs documentation, air and sea freight, purpose-built DC; and in-house 24/7 customer and supply management facilities,” he adds.
