RJ President/CEO Hussein Dabbas expresses RJ’s satisfaction at enhancing the growing strategic partnership with the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider, of which RJ owns 20%, and the UAE’s Abraj Capital owns 80%.

Dabbas adds that the agreement comes as a natural progression in the framework of special cooperation and business that stems from the long history and experience the two entities have shared, as JorAMCo was Royal Jordanian’s Engineering and Maintenance Department prior to privatization in 2000.

He also highlights RJ’s confidence in JorAMCo’s technical competence and qualified workforce, as the company enjoys international reputation in quality aircraft heavy and basic maintenance services.

JorAMCo CEO Bashir Abdel Hadi is delighted to have signed the agreement with the national carrier, which has long entrusted its basic maintenance requirements and component repair to JorAMCo under a historical and strategic relationship.

He adds that JorAMCo is certified by the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC) and by several regional and international aviation authorities, including USA Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
