Prolonged contract

At its last meeting, Lufthansa Cargo Supervisory Board prolonged the contract of Carsten Spohr, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board, for a five-year period until January 2015.

Carsten Spohr was appointed CEO with effect from January 15, 2007, initially for a three-year term.

Before his appointment as CEO and Chairman of Lufthansa Cargo, Spohr was a Member of the Management Board of Lufthansa Passenger Airlines.
